Hull, Iowa — A rural Hull family’s home was heavily damaged in a fire on Christmas Day.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that the page went out about 3:15 PM for structure fire at 2940 Hickory Avenue, two miles north of Hull.
They report that the homeowners, Mark and Sara Sandbulte and their four children were not present at the time the fire occurred.
No injuries were reported.
The home sustained extensive damage, according to the report.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Hull Fire Chief.
The Hull Fire Department reports that the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, the Hull Ambulance crew, and the Sioux Center Fire Department assisted them on the scene.
