First Annual Primghar Fall Festival To Be Saturday; Benefits Upper Des Moines And Primghar Pool Fund

Date posted - October 25, 2012

It’s a new fun activity in Primghar this Saturday. Primghar City Clerk and Chamber Secretary Marlene Anderson says a fall festival is planned.

There is also a home lighting contest, she says.

Admission to the Spook Walk benefits Upper Des Moines Opportunity. A canned good plus $1 is the fee (or $2 if you don’t bring a canned good). Prizes for the best dressed kids will be awarded at the soup and dessert supper, and for the adults top prize is $100. That contest will be judged at Baxterz later in the evening.

Proceeds from the Soup and Desert supper will go to the Pool Fundraising Committee. Incidentally, Anderson says they hope to start work on the pool in 2015.

If you need more information, you can call the Primghar City Hall.
