Five Underage Drinkers Charged After Sioux County Sheriff Breaks Up Hospers Party

Five underage drinkers were charged after authorities broke up a party near Hospers Saturday night.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous tip through the Text-a-Tip program Saturday night, of an underage alcohol party near Hospers.

Upon further investigation of the tip, deputies located the party, a half mile north of Hospers.

Nineteen-year-old Jonathon Ehlers of Luverne, MN, 20-year-old Dillon Postma from Sheldon, 20-year-old Ethan Evink from Hospers, and 19-year-old Jaclyn Dehner from Hinton, were cited for Possession of Alcohol Underage, a simple misdemeanor.

Nineteen-year-old Brennan Jungers of Hospers, was arrested and charged with Possession of Alcohol Underage and Supplying Alcohol to Persons Underage, a serious misdemeanor.

The investigation is ongoing
