Online court records indicate that Aaron Hamrock, the attorney for Kevin Grimes, entered the written arraignment and plea Friday afternoon (October 14th). Grimes is charged with three felony counts, and two misdemeanor counts, of sexual exploitation by a counselor.
Following Friday’s Not Guilty Plea, District Court Judge Patrick Carr ordered a Pretrial Conference be held at 9:30 am on Tuesday, November 15th, in Clay County District Court at Spencer. Carr also set a trial date of Tuesday, December 6th at 9:00 am.
Grimes is accused of having text conversations of a sexual nature, and also sharing nude photographs of himself with people he was counseling. Investigators also reportedly learned that Mr. Grimes had also had a sexual relationship with people he counseled.
