Sioux Center, Iowa — Friday is Kids Day at the Sioux County Youth Fair in Sioux Center, with special attractions on hand just for kids.
The day begins with the Fair Board Breakfast Fundraiser from 7:00 to 10:00 am. The 4-H Swine Show gets underway at 7:30, followed at 10:00 am by the 4-H Clover Kids Tour and Activities. The 4-H Exhibit Building also opens at 10:00 am. 4-H Working Exhibits are scheduled to begin at 10:30 Friday morning.
Friday afternoon has a lot going on, as well, beginning with the 4-H Pet Show at 1:00, County Youth Council Heritage Games will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 Friday afternoon, with the Livestock Judging Contest getting underway at 4:00.
The kids will enjoy the inflatables, mini-train rides, Petting Zoo, and Pony Rides that run from 4:00 until 8:00 pm. Mr. Twister will be on hand, with shows at 4:30 and 6:00 pm, and balloon art until 7:30. The Kids Pedal Tractor Pull gets underway at 5:30 Friday afternoon, with Chainsaw Art exhibition starting at 6:00. At 6:30 it’s the Greased Pig Contest at the Sioux County Youth Fair.
The Commercial Exhibits will be open from 4:00 to 9:00 pm Friday.
The Sioux County Youth Fair runs through July 16th and the fairgrounds in Sioux Center.
