Sheldon, Iowa — Several thousand people attended the opening night of the annual Christian music festival in Sheldon on Friday night.
According to Risefest personnel, the attendance on Friday night, June 16th, 2017 set a record. Unofficially, we are told that almost 8000 people were there and over 2000 cars were parked on the festival grounds in northeast Sheldon.
Risefest officials expect huge crowds today to hear Building 429, Tenth Avenue North, Crowder, Toby Mac and more.
