Governor Branstad Speaks In Northwest Iowa

Rock Rapids, Iowa — Iowa Governor Terry Branstad is in northwest Iowa today (Thursday, June 23rd).

Last night (Wednesday, June 22nd) he spoke at the new Rock Rapids Kids Club community daycare building. The daycare moved from their old building into the new one three weeks ago. Branstad says new daycare facilities are economic development tools.


Branstad is in Sibley and Sheldon today. We asked the governor what he had to say about his apperances at Sterler Solar Park in Sibley and White Wolf Web in Sheldon today.


The governor is on his 99-county tour of Iowa. We asked him what issues he’s been hearing about that are important to Iowans.


The governor wraps up this swing through northwest Iowa this afternoon (Thursday, June 23rd).
