Granville To Celebrate 125 Years This Week

Granville 125thGranville, Iowa — We’re getting into the season of summer festivals. Some of them happen every year. But not this one. This one has been 125 years in the making.

The town of Granville is turning 125 years old this year, according to one of the organizers of the celebration, Jeff Bunkers.

He says the events get started on Thursday, June 9th.

John Hansen, another organizer of the Granville 125th tells us what will happen on Friday, June 10th.

Bunkers tells us what’s happening on Saturday, June 11th.

Hansen says the fun doesn’t stop there.

He says it’ll be a fun-filled evening too.

They tell us that everything all weekend will be free except for your food and drink, and they invite everyone to help Granville celebrate their 125th.
