Heat and humidity will again be at the forefront of the weather today, but heat will peak on Wednesday with readings well into the 90s and some afternoon heat index values closing on 100 degrees. The chance for thunderstorms will start to pick up Wednesday night, with a few severe storms possible north of Interstate 90. Additional storms will fire Thursday and especially Thursday night, when some areas of heavy rainfall will be possible especially near and south of Interstate 90 through early Friday.
