Hospers Man Faces Charges For Cocaine Possession, OWI

CocainePowderSioux Center, Iowa — A Hospers man faces charges of cocaine possession and driving while drugged after his vehicle was stopped near Sioux Center.

On Tuesday, September 3, at 11:50 PM, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office stopped 21-year-old Brett Stark of Hospers five miles northwest of Sioux Center.

The deputy determined that Stark was in possession of cocaine and suspected that Stark was operating the vehicle while being under the influence of cocaine.

Stark was subsequently arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated/drugged and possession of cocaine.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office Drug Recognition Expert assisted in the investigation.
