Host Families Needed For Dordt Global Ag Summit

Dordt_Defenders logoSioux Center, Iowa — Dordt College will host the 2016 Global Agriculture Summit on March 3rd and 4th this year in Sioux Center.  Right now, Dordt officials are seeking host families to house the international visitors coming to Sioux Center for this summit.

Dordt Agriculture Professor Dick Joerger says many of the international attendees will be making a big financial sacrifice to attend the summit, and the college is seeking host families to try and help the attendees avoid housing expenses while they visit Sioux Center.

Joerger talked about what is being asked of host families.

He says that most of the visitors meals will be provided at the college, but there may, in some instances, be times when you’ll need to provide a meal or two for your guests.
