Hospers, Iowa — A northwest Iowa telecommunications company had some issues over the holiday weekend.
HTC Communications, based in Hospers serves a number of communities in northwest Iowa. They said that while their Internet service is working fine, the HTC telephone lines were experiencing a system-wide outage.
According to HTC officials, a net router affecting only their telephone service went out on Sunday. Technicians had been working on the problem Sunday night into Labor Day and all systems were back up Monday evening.
