Hull 17-Year-Old Charged With Sexual Abuse To Be Tried As Adult

Hull, Iowa — A Hull 17-year-old has been charged with felony sexual abuse.

On Wednesday, August 22 in the 6 PM hour, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of a sexual
assault that occurred on Second Street in Hull. The incident was reported to have happened the week prior
and involved a 14-year-old female victim.

As a result of the investigation, on Thursday, August 30, 17-year-old Christian Koele of Hull was charged with Sexual Abuse in the 3rd Degree, a class C felony.

Koele is being charged as an adult in this case and was detained and held at the Youth Emergency Service (YES) Center in Cherokee, IA.
