Hull Woman Injured In Accident On Thursday

Sheldon PD car police spdSheldon, Iowa — A Hull woman was injured in an accident on Thursday (3/14) in Sheldon.

The Sheldon Police Department reports that about 8:40 PM, 21-year-old Emily Hidalgo of Hull was eastbound on Pine Street in a 1996 Pontiac. A 2003 Ford was legally parked, facing east on Pine. The report does not list the owner of the parked car.

Hidalgo lost control of her Pontiac, which struck the parked Ford.

The report says Hidalgo received non-incapacitating injuries but was not transported to a hospital.

Hidalgo’s Pontiac and the parked Ford sustained $2000 damage, each.

Hidalgo was charged with Failure To Maintain Control
