Hull Woman Taken To Hospital After Accident In Hull

Ambulance rear blue and whiteHull, Iowa — A Hull woman was taken to the hospital after an accident in Hull on Wednesday (9/4/13).

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 5:55 PM, 26-year-old Marie Plueger of Hull was backing a 2005 Buick Rendezvous from a residential driveway onto Division Street. Thirty-five-year-old Timothy Blankespoor of George was driving a 1989 Oldsmobile Regency northbound on Division Street.

When Plueger entered Division Street she struck Blankespoor’s vehicle on the roadway.

Plueger was transported to the Sioux Center Hospital by the Hull Ambulance.

The Buick sustained approximately $2,000 in damages. The Oldsmobile sustained an estimated $1,900 in damages.

Plueger was cited for unsafe backing.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Hull Fire Department and Hull Ambulance crew.
