Why in the world would we even think about offering illegals discounted in-state tuition rates at colleges and universities. There are plenty of Iowans that don’t receive any special discounts.

How do the offspring of Illegal immigrants, get re-titled “immigrants”? They aren’t less-illegal after the first generation. And why is the American Civil Liberties Union, involved in decisions about non-Americans? That should be left to the Non-American Civil Liberties Union.

There is a legal process for immigrating to this country. If you want to make an end-run around these rules, suffer the consequences for disrespecting our policies.

The only good I could see out of this, is if these “deferred action status” individuals, actually go get auto insurance on the vehicles. I just don’t see that happening.

No qualifications to abide by? No testing? None of the stipulations that a naturalized citizens has to go thru? Including Drivers Ed or anything? Just apply and they get one? And does this apply to those from Argentina, Russia, Japan, Swedan, etc etc.
