ISU Extension To Hold Workshop For Small Scale Producers At NCC

ISU WordmarkSheldon, Iowa — Northwest Iowa Community College will be the site for a MarketReady Workshop, February 2nd, hosted by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.

ISU Extension’s Linda Naeve tells us what this workshop is all about.

She says that producers who attend this workshop will learn about a variety of different topics.

Naeve says this workshop is not intended for home gardeners.

She says that, in addition to the February 2nd workshop, there is also an online training that people are urged to complete before attending the workshop.

In addition to the February 2nd MarketReady Workshop, ISU Extension will also hold a Good Agricultural Practices Level 1 Training at NCC on February 15th.  She says that preregistration is required for each, and if you register for both trainings you can get a discounted price.  Registration for each session must be received at least 10 days prior to the event.

The February 2nd MarketReady Workshop will be held in Room 117, Building A at Northwest Iowa Community College, and will run from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.
