It’s Graduation Season In Northwest Iowa

cap and diploma_sxcNorthwest Iowa — High school graduation season has arrived in northwest Iowa, with area high schools holding commencement from as early as May 14th, to as late as June 5th.

Seniors in the West Lyon District received their diplomas in ceremonies held Saturday, May 14th.  Trinity Christian High School at Hull held commencement this past Wednesday, May 18th.

Several area schools will hold their commencement exercises this weekend.  This Sunday, May 22nd is a popular date for high school graduations in the area, with Sibley-Ocheyedan, Central Lyon, South O’Brien, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, Boyden-Hull, and George-Little Rock all having commencement scheduled for that day.

Western Christian will present diplomas to their seniors this coming Wednesday, May 25th, while Unity Christian has graduation scheduled for Thursday, May 26th.

Rock Valley is scheduled to hold their graduation ceremonies on Sunday, May 29th.  The final area school to hold commencement will be the Sheldon Community Schools, who have graduation scheduled for Sunday, June 5th.
