Washington, D.C. — Congressman Steve King has released a┬ávideo statement after voting in favor of Trade Promotion Authority (TPA).

The House narrowly passed Trade Promotion Authority or TPA on Thursday. King says it’s been a bit of a struggle. He says it’s tied together with TAA, or Trade Assistance Allowance and a bill they’ve been calling the “customs bill.” King says he actually didn’t like the TPA part of the legislation.

King says, however they were able to get those stipulations into another part of the legislation.

To hear King further explain his vote, watch the video.
