Kurtz: Be Alert At Intersections With Tall Corn

corn fieldNorthwest Iowa — The corn crop in northwest Iowa, for the most part, is looking pretty good these days.  But that tall Iowa corn can present a real hazard for drivers, according to one Iowa State Patrol Trooper.

Trooper Vince Kurts says the combination of tall corn and uncontrolled gravel intersections, can lead to disaster.

Kurtz talks about the best way to avoid crashes at these intersections.
