Landowner Wind Association Forming In O’Brien County: Another Meeting Planned

Date posted - June 17, 2013

wind turbine_sxcPrimghar, Iowa — O’Brien County Economic Development and the O’Brien County Value-Added Ag Steering Committee are moving ahead with a Landowner Wind Association.  We talked with O’Brien County Economic Development Director Kiana Johnson.  She says a number of people have been looking into how this should be done.

And that has progressed as well, says Johnson.  She says they met with an attorney.

Johnson says they are very interested in taking this further, so another meeting has been planned for Wednesday, June 26.

She says the meeting will be in the assembly room at the courthouse.

For more information, you can visit with any of the members of the Value-Added Ag Steering Committee or O’Brien County Economic Development at 712-957-1313, Email:  She says you can also visit with your township trustee.
