Date posted - July 12, 2012
Grand Falls Casino and Resort opened just over a year ago on the state line northwest of Larchwood — just 8 miles from Sioux Falls.
Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission officials credit Grand Falls with the revenue growth in Iowa casino revenue of over three percent.
The state’s fifteen casinos and tracks recorded record revenue in the last year of almost $1.47 billion.
Revenue only dropped at four of the 15 casinos this past year. All the others had net gains.
