Le Mars Man Found Guilty On Several Charges Including Assault Of 11-Year-Old Girl

Le Mars, Iowa — A Le Mars man faces sentencing on several charges including assault of an 11-year-old girl after he was found guilty of all charges this week.

A Plymouth County jury found 20-year-old Matthew Jandreau guilty on charges of burglary; kidnapping, assault with intent to commit sexual abuse causing bodily injury; operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent; criminal mischief and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Le Mars Police say the crimes occured in March. They say he assaulted the girl after he found her in the basement of one of the two homes which he’s been convicted of breaking into.
