Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Community Schools Board of Education will cover numerous items when they hold their regular monthly meeting Wednesday evening.
The Board will be faced with appointing the Secretary/Treasurer for 2016-17, as well as appointing a District Equity Coordinator, along with members of the District Leadership Team.
In other action, the Board will be asked to approve partnership agreements with Northwest Iowa Community College for the upcoming fiscal year, and approve a Student Services Contract with Children’s Home Society of Sioux Falls.
A sound baffling system for the East Elementary gym will also be on the agenda. The Board is scheduled to hear recommendations, and consider the purchase of the sound baffling equipment during Wednesday’s meeting.
The Board will also be asked to consider the purchase of a new sound system for the high school football field/track complex, as well as a sound/recording system for the high school band room, along with numerous other items of business.
Wednesday’s regular meeting of the Sheldon Community Schools Board of Education will begin at 6:00 pm in the high school library.
