Sheldon, Iowa — The Northwest Iowa Health Care Foundation Golf Tournament took place on Monday, September 10th. And — something different this year — a golf cart was raffled off.
The winner of the “Sanford blue” golf cart was Scott Lichty. KIWA congratulates Lichty on his good fortune.
Sanford Sheldon Administrator Rick Nordahl says the golf tournament is one of two major fundraisers for the Foundation — the other one being the Hegg Brothers concert around Christmastime.
Nordahl says the tournament is a “fun fundraiser,” and all the money raised stays local.
He tells us what the Foundation does with the money raised.
