Luverne, Minnesota Man Behind Bars After Felony Drug Arrest Near Hull/Perkins

A Luverne, Minnesota man is behind bars after he was arrested near Perkins on felony drug charges.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports they arrested 46-year-old Sakdarif Lokhamkouak of Luverne on Tuesday evening. The arrest was a result of an erratic driving complaint received by the Sioux County Communications Center.
Lokhamkouak was stopped by a Sioux County deputy sheriff just south of 320th Street on Highway 75, near Perkins. During the traffic stop the deputy found Lokhamkouak to be in possession of 14.8 ounces of marijuana.
Lokhamkouak was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and failure to affix a drug stamp, both class D felonies.
Additionally, just over $2,400 in cash was seized as a result of the investigation.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office K‐9, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office drug recognition expert and the Sioux Center Police Department assisted in the investigation.
