Madison, SD Man Airlifted To Sioux Falls Hospital After Orange City ATV Accident

Sanford helicopter new in 2012Orange City, Iowa — A Madison, SD man was airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital after an ATV accident on Saturday near Orange City.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 4:40 PM, 20-year-old Matthew Lemair of Madison, SD was driving a 2012 Arctic Cat 550 ATV on the farm property at 3554 490th Street when the ATV struck a cement barrier. Before it hit the barrier, Lemair jumped from the ATV.

LeMair was taken to the Orange City Health System Hospital by private vehicle. He was later airlifted to Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.

The Arctic Cat ATV sustained about $100 in damages.
