Maintainer Breaks Ground On Expansion Project

Sheldon, Iowa — Maintainer Corporation of Iowa, Inc. has broken ground on a project that will expand the production capacity at its Sheldon manufacturing plant.main

The ceremony took place at 9 AM on Tuesday morning, July 15th.  At the ceremony, Executive Director Curt Strouth spoke on behalf of the Sheldon Chamber and Development Corporation.

Maintainer’s administration says the plant addition will increase factory space by 30%; will cost over a million dollars to build, and will mean at least 15 new jobs.

The expansion, which is expected to be fully completed by Spring 2015, will add 17,750 square feet to the existing manufacturing facility. Maintainer also plans to add 3,000 square feet to its office space.
