Northwest Iowa — Winter weather is on its way for the weekend, with the entire KIWA listening area being under a Winter Storm Warning from 3:00 tomorrow morning until 6:00 Sunday evening.
National Weather Service Warning Coordinator Peter Rogers says we’re seeing a significant winter storm this weekend.
Rogers says we can expect a mixed bag of precipitation types as this system passes through.
He says this storm system is a tricky one.
We asked Rogers how much snow we could expect here in northwest Iowa.
He says his best advice for the weekend is to slow down and take it easy.
