Man Faces Charges After Incident

Orange City, Iowa — A Norfolk, Nebraska man was arrested and faces drug and alcohol charges after an incident in Orange City early on Saturday.
The Orange City Police Department reports that about 1:25 AM they received a call that a female subject was being held against her will and feared that the a male subject she was with would hurt her at Hampton Inn & Suites. When officers arrived they tried to make contact with the subjects in room 311. Officers did enter the room and found the male subject passed out on the bathroom floor and the female subject asleep and unharmed.
Officers believe 25-year-old Keith Hudgeons of Norfolk, Nebraska supplied alcohol to a person under the legal age. They also say that Hudgeons was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance, believed to be “K-2”.
A search warrant was done on the hotel room and officers say they found a plastic baggy with a green leafy substance in it believed to be “K-2”. Keith was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and supplying alcohol to a person under the legal age.
