Hudson, SD — A Minnesota man was taken to a hospital after an accident on the Iowa side of the Big Sioux River near Hudson, South Dakota.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Friday, December 4, about 2:05 PM, 20-year-old Haladeh Hayes of Andover, MN was driving a Saturn Vue westbound on 360th Street, two miles east of Hudson, SD when he lost control of the vehicle, entered the north ditch and rolled.
The Hudson Ambulance took Hayes to the Sioux Center Health Hospital.
Hayes was cited on a charge of failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office says the Hudson Fire Department, Hudson Ambulance crew and Iowa State Patrol assisted them.
