Bigelow, Minnesota — A Minnesota man was taken to the hospital after an accident that took place just into Iowa on Thursday, February 18, 2016.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 7:45am 65-year-old Robert Donald Newman of Eagan, MN was driving a 2006 Isuzu I280 southbound on Highway 60 when the report says he encountered icy road conditions. The Isuzu slid off the roadway into the west ditch where it overturned, coming to rest on its wheels.
They say the Sibley Ambulance Crew took Newman to the Osceola Community Hospital.
The report says the Isuzu received about $15,000 in damage.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says the Bigelow, MN fire department assisted at the scene.
