Melvin Man Sentenced On Theft Charges

gavel_sxcSibley, Iowa — A Melvin man has been sentenced after he pled guilty to a theft charge.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports that 26-year-old Jordan Richard Walbaum of Melvin pled guilty to a charge of Theft in the Fifth Degree. He was sentenced to ten days in the county jail, with all ten days suspended during a supervised probation agreement with that Office.

Walbaum was also ordered to pay a restitution of $125 to J.R.’s in Melvin. He will also pay $60 in court costs and he will pay the Sheriff’s fees for the Supervised Probation Agreement.
