Date posted - October 29, 2012

Des Moines, Iowa — MidAmerican Energy Crews from Sheldon and other areas of Iowa have been sent east to help victims in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. In fact, several crews have now been dispatched to help in the cleanup and restoration effort.

We talked to MidAmerican spokesperson Tina Potthoff, who tells us more.

She says they also let a number of contract employees go east to help out.

She says they’re going to keep watching the situation and if they have to release additional crews, they won’t hesitate to help out.
