Minnesota Man Arrested Near Hospers On Drug Charges

A Minnesota man has been arrested near Hospers on drug and OWI charges.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that early on Wednesday morning, they arrested 33-year-old Jedediah Highum of Mankato, MN. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop initiated by a sheriff’s deputy on Highway 60 three miles south of Hospers.
Highum was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Operating While Intoxicated, both serious misdemeanors and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
The Sioux County canine unit and th e Sioux County Drug Recognition Expert assisted in the investigation.
