UPDATE: At 1:25 pm Friday afternoon, KIWA received a phone call from the Sheldon Police Department saying Joy had been found, and is okay.
———————————————————————————–Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a Sheldon teen.
According to Sheldon Police, 16-year-old Joy Marie Farence of Sheldon was last seen 12:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon, March 23rd. It is unknown if she was traveling with anyone or what direction she was traveling in.
Farence is identified as a white female, approximately 5′ 3″ in height, with brown eyes.
Anyone with any information about Farence is asked to contact the Sheldon Police Department at 712-324-2525 immediately.
