More Flags Reported Stolen In Hull, Boyden

Hull, Iowa — You may remember that last week we told you about several American flags being been reported stolen in the town of Hull. Now more flags have been reported stolen.american flag cloudy day_sxc

On Sunday, August 10, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated the reports, and upon further investigation, they determined that the perpetrator or perpetrator stole American flags off of several flagpoles from both school and residential property on the north side of Hull. The Sheriff’s Office says the thefts likely took place sometime between Saturday, August 9, at 10:00 PM and Sunday, August 10 at 7:00 AM.

Now three additional reports of stolen flags have come in, and the Sheriff’s Office is now also investigating those. The incidents occurred in the Hull and Boyden areas.

The Sheriff’s Office determined that these thefts likely occurred between Sunday, August 10 and Saturday, August 16.
