NCC Honors Faculty, Staff For Years Of Service

Sheldon, Iowa — Several members of the faculty and staff at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon were recently honored for their service to the college, students and community at the annual Employee Recognition Ceremony held on November 6, 2012.

Recognized for twenty-five years of service were

Jill Collen of Sheldon, Instructor in the Arts & Science Department

Vicki Irwin of Hartley, Assistant in the Continuing Education Department

Dan Reeves of Sheldon, Director – Business Services

Collen, Irwin, and Reeves have been with NCC since 1987.

Dr. Rhonda Pennings of Orange City was recognized for twenty years of service. She serves as Dean – Arts & Science/Business & Health, and has been with NCC since 1992.

Five Northwest Iowa Community College employees were recognized for their fifteen years of service at the Employee Recognition Ceremony.

NCC employees who have been with the College for fifteen years:

Evan Bensley – Coordinator – Emergency Services Education, Lake Park

Aaron Dvorak – Instructor – Powerline, Sheldon

Molly Galm – Director – Library Services, Spencer

Mindy Witham – Assistant – Enrollment Management, Melvin

Steven Youngs – Instructor – Collision Repair & Refinishing, Sheldon

Dr. Beth Frankenstein – Coordinator – Academic Advisor/Counseling & Special Needs, Sheldon

Doug Hoagland – Maintenance Technician, Hartley

Eric Ortner – Coordinator – Network Administrator, Sioux Center

Mark Steinle – Instructor – Automotive, Spirit Lake
