NCC Signs Agreement With Briar Cliff To Allow NCC Nursing Students To Complete BSN

Sheldon, Iowa — Northwest Iowa Community College and Briar Cliff University in Sioux City have signed an agreement that will benefit students in the NCC nursing program.

The two schools have signed an articulation agreement allowing NCC’s students with an associate’s degree in nursing to conveniently complete their bachelor’s degree through Briar Cliff.

NCC President, Dr. Alethea Stubbe, says NCC is excited about this agreement.

She says the agreement lays out the courses needed in each college to obtain a BSN from Briar Cliff.

Stubbe says the agreement helps NCC nursing students by giving them another option to pursue their BSN.

Stubbe says the agreement allows NCC students the opportunity to earn their bachelor’s degree in two years or less.
