Date posted - October 23, 2013
Sheldon, IA — Several hundred people braved the cool temperatures and snowfall Wednesday morning to see the unveiling of Northwest Iowa Community College’s first campus sculpture.
The sculpture unveiling was a part of NCC’s “Homecoming” Week celebration, “Days of Thunder”, which continues throughout the remainder of the week, with a free Community Dinner Thursday evening, followed by an evening of musical entertainment called “Dueling Pianos”. Friday is Family Day on campus, and the Day’s of Thunder will be capped off Saturday morning by the NCC-KIWA Radio Thunder Road Race.
