Northwest Iowa Community College To Raise Funds With Help Of The Clements Group

Dr. Alethea Stubbe
Sheldon, Iowa — The Northwest Iowa Community College Board of Trustees has decided to use the services of a consulting firm to help them raise funds for upcoming scholarships and improvements. We had a chance to talk with Dr. Aletha Stubbe, the president of NCC. She says that they hope to be successful with their capitol campaign.

Dr. Stubbe says that they hope to be able to do some of the projects for which they brought the bond issue to voters, but that’s not the only focus of the fundraising effort.

We asked Dr. Stubbe about the timing of the partnership with The Clements Group.

She says the consulting firm will help them in many ways.

Stubbe says that since the college has a small staff, it makes sense to partner with Clements on a limited basis. She says they can work with Clements up to a year, but how much time they work together is yet to be determined.

She says the board and staff do not have a firm timeline yet for rolling out the fundraising campaign.
