O’Brien County Authorities Seek Help In Solving Primghar Business Burglary

Primghar, Iowa — The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the burglary of a convenience store in Primghar.

According to the Sheriff’s Office report, the incident happened at the Pro-Go convenience store in Primghar during the early morning hours Friday (August 18th).  Authorities say the burglars entered the building and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the business.

Authorities are encouraging anyone who might have seen suspicious activity in the area of the convenience store to contact the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office with the information.  According to the Sheriff’s Office, the O’Brien County Crime Dusters program is offering a $600 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators of this crime.

Deputies say you can provide information on this crime, or any other crimes, by calling the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office at 712-957-3415.  Upon calling you’ll be put into contact with a deputy sheriff who will take your information.  Authorities say you can also provide information or tips on crimes by clicking on the “Resources & Links” tab, and then select “Crime Dusters” on the Sheriff’s Office website. They say arrangements can be made to assist people who want to remain anonymous, but still be eligible for the reward.
