O’Brien County Revolving Loan Fund May Soon Have $400,000 To Lend

Primghar, Iowa — The O’Brien County Revolving Loan Fund is in line to receive a nice influx of cash, which will be loaned out to help businesses locate in O’Brien County.money cash bills dollars

We talked to O’Brien County Economic Development Director Kiana Johnson, who says they have had applications to the fund, without the money to help them. But that has now changed.

She says the funds are actually coming from another community that wasn’t able to use the funds.

For 2014, they have already approved loans totaling $743,000. She says as the loans get paid back with interest, the money goes back into the fund to be lent to another project, which helps create business in O’Brien County.
