Date posted - August 10, 2013
Ocheyedan, Iowa — The summertime festivals continue in northwest Iowa. It’s Ocheyedan Days of Olde this weekend in Ocheyedan. We talked to Christina Kruger — one of the people setting up the festival — and asked her about today’s activities (8/10/13)
She says there’s also a Sunday bean bag tournament at 2 PM sponsored by the Ocheyedan Catfish Club.
Incidentally, it’s also Everly days in Everly this weekend. Friday night is fun for adults. Saturday there’s something for everyone…Barbecue contest, Disc Golf Tournament, volleyball, bike race, kiddie parade, kids games, and more, topped off by a dance at the Fire Station beginning at 7 PM, with music by The Dweebs. Sunday caps off the weekend with Prayer In The Park beginning at 10 AM.
Ashton Town and Country Days is coming up August 15-17, and the Little Rock Corn Show is August 22-25.
