Off, Off Broadway Gearing Up To Produce Unnecessary Farce At Sheldon Eagles Club

eagles interiorSheldon, Iowa — Off, Off Broadway is getting ready to put on another dinner theatre production, October 31st through November 3rd. But the regular location for their productions, the Cedar Cabin in Ashton has closed, forcing the area theatre troupe to look elsewhere for a venue. King Hickman is directing Unnecessary Farce by Paul Slade Smith.

He says sometimes he directs and acts in the same show, but this time he’s only directing. He tells us about the cast.

Hickman says while the food won’t be from the Cutsingers, he promises it will be just as good.

Hickman says because this is a new venue, there are different arrangements for how to get tickets and choose your entrée.

Again, tickets can be purchased by calling 324-4531 between 2:30 and 5:30 PM, Monday through Saturday.

Hickman says they’re not ready to make an announcement yet about a possible venue in Sibley for the spring show, but their intention is to possibly alternate between locations in Sheldon and Sibley.
