One Arrested In Boyden After Officers Say He Held 18-year-old Against Her Will

Boyden, Iowa — One individual was arrested in Boyden on Thursday after officers found he held an 18-year-old against her will.

On Thursday, May 24 in the 10 PM hour, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was called to check if everything was OK at 604 Sheridan Street in Boyden.

When deputies arrived at the residence it was found that Drew Kersten had assaulted his 18 year old girlfriend and held her against her will.

Kersten was arrested for Serious Domestic Assault and False Imprisonment, both serious misdemeanors.
