One Charged With OWI, One With Supplying Alcohol To Underage Person In Hospers

drunk driving OWI DWI iStockHospers, Iowa — Two Hospers residents have now been arrested on alcohol-related violations after a traffic stop early on Sunday morning, August 11.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that shortly after 5 AM that day, one of their deputies made a traffic stop at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and 410th Street, three miles north of Orange City.

The deputy arrested 19-year-old Courtney Siege of Hospers on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Upon further investigation, six days later, on Saturday, August 17th, the Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Ashley Hendrickson of Hospers and charged her with supplying alcohol to an underage person.
