One From Southern Iowa, One From Eastern Iowa Arrested After Fight At Lyon County Fair

On Wednesday evening, a fight apparently broke out. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies responded to a fight in the midway at the Lyon County Fair.
Two individuals were arrested in connection with the fight. The Sheriff’s Office reports 25-year-old Samuel Chadwick Dory of Indianola, Iowa was charged with Disorderly Conduct; a simple misdemeanor; and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, an aggravated misdemenaor. Dory is accused of displaying a knife during the altercation. Deputies also arrested 29-year-old Billy Jack McGonigle of Oelwein, Iowa. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct, a simple misdemeanor.
Both men were taken into custody and housed at the Lyon County Jail in Rock Rapids.
