UPDATE: Names Released in Fatal Hartford, South Dakota Motorcycle Crash

Hartford, SD – An Illinois woman has died and her husband is seriously injured following single motorcycle crash about two miles east of the Hartford exit on Interstate 90 on Wednesday, August 8.
Sixty-one year old Bruce Iden of Normal, Illinois was driving a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on I-90 when he lost control. The motorcycle overturned and threw both Iden and his wife, sixty-one year old Barbara B. Iden.
The motorcycle came to rest in the driving lane. Barbara Iden was pronounced dead at the scene while Bruce Iden was transported to a Sioux Falls hospital with life-threatening injuries. Neither rider was wearing a helmet.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office and the Sioux Falls Police Department assisted on the scene.
