Orange City, Iowa — Thousands of riders will descend upon Orange City on Saturday, July 22nd, to begin their trek across Iowa for the (Des Moines) Register’s Annual Bike Ride Across Iowa, or RAGBRAI.
The Orange City RAGBRAI executive committee has assigned volunteers to multiple committees. The Orange City RAGBRAI committee has developed a mission statement. Orange City’s RAGBRAI publicity committee chairperson Jenon Scallon reads it for us and tells us about it.
The website is ragbrai.orangecityiowa.com. Scallon tells us what is available there for Orange City and area residents.
She says there’s also a riders and support staff area of the website.
Scallon says they’re also planning a community event in April.
She says there will be more information coming out shortly about the community event.
